Congratulations to my 2 dear friends, Day and Azira, for their successful completion and screening of their 'Kampong Lorong Buangkok' documentary and 'End of Transmission' short film respectively.

It was definitely fun and it makes me feel like a proud mama, wahahaha... D picnic style setting, w straw mats on d floor of d theatre was interesting or in liza's words 'spices up our lives'.

Exams over, now final year project presentation!

The evening before my first exam paper, 19th apr, I was not doing last minute revision. Instead, I was spending time chilling on live national radio. Would say I was pretty nervous about it, but I guess my performance was pretty fine judging from general feedback. Definitely would like more opportunities for improvement. Gerek nyeeee…….. DJ N in da house ya’ll!

Thanks to az for being there, for the support, for the photography and for the chauffer-ing, hee. Thanks to all my friends for your support, for tuning-in, for your very encouraging comments. Thank you. Without you listeners, radio will be dead.

I handed in my final fyp report last tues 10th apr, exactly 7 days aft d due date. Phew! It was actually ready on d 5th, however, i encountered so much trouble printing it out, cos of dis weird formatting problem with dis small paragraph. It was 3 hours between the moment i saved the final report and d moment i finished printing it out. By which time, it was 7.30pm n obviously the prof wld not be in his office anymore. Then d next day was good fri holiday, so i couldnt hand it in. When the report was finally in the hands of my examiner, felt likt a huge weight has been relieved fr my shoulders. Phew!

So I've been chilling since then, wahaha... supposed to b studying, but oh heck.

I went to watch d Dancefloor at d studios on wed juz for d heck of it w ykl. It was interesting n all, especially since Esquared finally left. But i dont quite like it cos it was juz so noisy, it was tough to hear wat d hosts n judges were saying. But it was good for wat it was.

Last evening, we went to watch Wild Rice's Blithe spirit. It was pretty hilarious. Pam oei was such a cacat character but very effective. Her impression of a phillipino maid was so funny! I've always enjoyed pam n selena's plays. Bravo!

D next show i'll b looking forward to would be d screening of az's short film which will b aft d exams... btw, mamasitas, havent seen u babes for so long..... jom! watch Az's short film!

Day n i had chinese tuition w ykl yesterday. my mandarin lessons do not teach how to write anything but the letters 'A' n 'B' but yesterday, day n ykl taught me how to write 1 to 10 in chinese characters! It was so fun but i kept mixing up d 7 and d 9. Will practice till i remember it... windows n sumo wrestlers go!

The end is so close n how i wish i can juz fast forward d next week, haizz... Cant wait till i can be free. but no, i'll start studying now then...

The date today is 4th April 2007.

It has been so long since i last blogged. March has been a whirlwind month. Career fairs, mid-term quizes, fyp report draft, moving house, radio academy, 2 weeks of flu, sore throat and fever and intensive driving. Breathe....

Moving was crazy, it really tested my tolerance level and patience. I pushed my self-control to the limit. Holding everything in and not bursting into tears despite much pressure, anger, unhappiness and dissatisfaction. I'd say I've pretty much settled into the new routines of staying during weekdays in holland and weekends in cck. Altho this arrangment is very inconvenient especially during exam period and report writing fremzy, I'm trying my best to manage. In the words of Anna Nalick, "And life's like an hourglass, glued to the table. No one can find the rewind button, girl. So cradle your head in your hands and breathe... just breathe"

To those of you going thru a tough period, be it, personal problems or family friction or exam stress, remember, "There's a light at each end of this tunnel, you shout 'cause you're just as far in as you'll ever be out"

But radio academy was a good way to keep my stress level in check. Altho it took place juz before my mid term, it was thoroughly enjoyable. A very useful experience and a step in the right direction for me.

So its now april. My final report was due yesterday, but its still not done.
21 days to end of exams. Not free aft exams yet, there's fyp presentation to worry about. But till then, lets just worry about April's hurdles.
