Yesterday was spent in(/with?) great company. We finally celebrated Osh's bday, 2 n a half weeks late, all thanks to d exams.

The day started early at 10, arrived at ECP past 11, settled down at a shady bench, laid out our mats n changed. Then we began giving him his presents. There were those kinda cardboards wer the car parts/cut outs were pushed out of. The cars really worked, dey moved along smoothly. Then der were d maracus, cymbals n triangle. We got him d triangle cos sometime back, he told us he plays in a band n Cat being Cat, said "Kau main apa? Triangle?". It was so mean, yet hilarious. And no, he doesn't play a triangle. He's actually pretty talented la, d more musically-inclined among us. Which was why we gave him all those musical instruments. He was supposed to give us a performance. One man, three instrmnts. It can be done, he says.

Aft all d unwrapping, we ate lunch while osh assembled one of d 5 cars. We found out he's not very good at it(hoho). Cos we had to keep telling him stuff like "dat shd b d oder way around", "not like dat la", "wrong part la tu!". But in d end he did it n d car worked fine. I cooked pasta for lunch. Der was not enuf sauce tho, had to ration. I've nvr had to cook for 6, at 7 in d morn, within 2 hours including clean up time, so please pardon me. Amount estimation errors r bound to happen.

Anyways, aft lunch, 1 by 1, we got sleepy, so we sat on d mat n played uno, den Bluff. Bluff was so funny. There was Fan who bluffed with no holds bar, Osh who kept catching(??) Fan's bluff, Yanto who kept picking up the non-bluffs, Soffi who didn't dare bluff or catch bluffs, n Cat who kept finishing her cards/winning but kept taking Fan's cards cos she still wanted to play. It was so comical.

While we played, something odd happened. An Indian family of 3 women n 2 kids came n sat down at our bench. They began laying out their stuff on d table, moving our stuff aside n makin themselves comfortable. It was 'muka tembok' of dem. Ok u c, we were directly behind our bench on d mats, we were so near! How cld dey not c us?? N d thing dat made us so stunned was d fact dat dey didnt ask or even acknowledge our presence n happily pushed our stuff away! So den Fan got up(to show his big, tall self, in case dey didnt c us b4) n asked 'u want to share is it?' Apparently, dey spoke very little english, so dey stared at him with no answer. Den d small boy said 'no i dont want to share' n walked away, but d women stayed der. It was klaka la. Soon we decided to pack up n leave. Den Fan said 'U noe wat could b weirder, if dey came n sat on our mats'. We all agreed laughing.

We moved off, kept our stuff in d car, went to McD to hide from d sun n hav milkshakes. Rented our bikes n we were off! We cycled to d cable ski park, bedok jetty, den we had to run away fr d rain to another jetty. Took holiday pictures, d boys messed around w d tandem bike den we cycled back.

Now everyone's tired n hungry but we couldnt decide wer to get dinner. We ended up at Simei, got ourselves hotdogs fr 1901, ate while we walked to d back of Eastpoint mall wer Sarpino's pizzeria was. Got ourselves 2 large pizzas which finished much too quickly. While we ate, we talked abt games n Fan said 'eh u noe dis game like bangbang bang who died?' Tot he knew d game, but it turned out i was d only one who did, so we played till 1 by 1 dey got it except osh. For d 1st time Osh didn't know something! Everyone felt victorious as dey got it b4 osh did.

Aft Sarpino's, d boys wanted to get ice cream, d cone ones fr KFC. During ice cream, Cat made a proposal to Yanto, "Do u want me to lick or use my lips?" wen he offered her his ice cream. D girls tot it was totally innocent n comprehensive, but boys being boys read differently into it n made a big deal over it. It was funny seeing d astonished looks on d boys' faces n Cat tryin unsuccessfully to defend her grounds.

We got back in d car n ended up at Soffi's place watching Raymond n to use her toilet. Den we were finally on d train n on our way. In d train, we attempted to play mastermind. D funniest part was wen Yanto attempted to b d mastermind wen he actually didnt know how to play d game. Cat n I had a ball laughing at his undecipherable arrangments. He n Osh need to b educated. We parted ways with promises of d next meeting n more mastermind games till d boys knew wats goin on.

A day well spent...

Exams ended exactly a week ago n i was very excited to get back into my sorta normal routine. All dat stressing over the exams was terrible. InsyaAllah 1 sem to go!

D love n I went to vivocity aft my last paper n dang it was crowded! I didnt appreciate d crowd but juz spending a day w d love w no exams to worry abt was absolute pleasure. The external area was pretty. Pity it was too hot to spend a long time outside. Lunch was good. Thanks for d nasi lemak n chicken cutlet, hun!

I watched my 1st Bond movie.... Was sceptical initially but later, to my surprise, i enjoyed it. Nothin like i expected.

Wat else hav i been up to since d exams ended? Volunteering for d Red Cross, a couple of gym sessions, swimming, fyp, present shoppin w cat n soffy, cupcake bakin n fiedzul's wedding. I havent been bored yet...
