DAY 20 Singapore Soup

We had an excursion to d Backer's factory for german class yesterday. We were all decked out in aprons n baker's hats n had to make brezel! I found it utterly difficult, apparently i'm not rolling it w enuf strength so d dough juz refuse to elongate n thin. my classmates were doin their fourth n fifth n i was still workin on d first. Wen i finally got d first done, it looks like a small n fat piece. Urgh! d second looks thinner but still small. d 3rd n 4th was good, not big, but at least its not fat. They were decent looking pieces n i'm pretty proud of myself for my ability, despite d time lag.

We got a tour of d place n saw how dey made d cakes n decorated it n we got to sample d cakes n chocolate bananas n ice cream balls. Oh btw, now dat its d WM fever, a lot of things r made to look like footballs, even cakes. So it was a tour through sweet things. At d end of it, we got to take home all, n i mean ALL, d brezel we made. Der was so many la, but it was a once in a lifetime experience to b in a bakery n makin brezel.

Wat did i eat for dinner last night? Ich koche Gemusesuppe!!! Vegetable soup spore style! I was definitely banging on luck, but it all turned out so good, it actually tasted like something my mom wld hav cooked for me at home! Yes so we ate rice w soup! Kenyang.....
Shall experiment w other things next!

D weather is lookin better, hasn't rained for 2 days n its warmer. i dont hav to wear 2 layers of jackets anymore! I cant wait till d day i dont hav to wear 2 layers of shirt everyday......
