14th Day in Stuttgart

my nails r not growing. its either d weather, or d lack of protein in my diet. a meatless diet.

we found a turkish grocery store selling halal meat! bought a month's supply of sausages (cos we dont know how to cook raw meat without any seasoning or spices). Last night we cooked rice! ate it w kicap. kampong style but w mashed potato w salt n pepper n sliced tomatoes n sausages la so sorta western also. as long as it makes my life here feel less kesian n it fills my tummy, i'm happy enuf.

on d 1st day i arrived at d house n was asked if i wanted anything to eat or drink, i was handed an empty glass wen i asked for water. i can still rmmbr how startled i was. last night, hajar asked me for water, n subconciously, i handed her an empty glass. she says i've been influenced by d librarian. sheesh! both huifang n she says my host's house is like a library.

i hav no archi lesson today. N tmr, we're goin to d Mercedes museum.... Its an excursion for everyone. Morgen besichtigen wir ein Mercedes museum.

Ich habe heute die Geschichte über Mercedes Jellinek lernen. Ich muss spreche mehr Deutsch, dann ich kann besser schreiben und sprechen. Mein Deutsch ist sehr schlecht! Aber ich möchte das besser werden.
