It felt as if i've nvr watched shutter before last night. I watched it once before, but clearly remembered dozing off a few times thruout d show. But last night was a whole new experience altogether. D speaker was really loud. U know how thriller movies tend to have dat sudden, high-pitched sound effects? Yes, imagine it on super loud speakers. Didnt hav enuf hands to cover all my ears (n eyes) at d same time. Freaky la dat show. I really felt d suspense n d shocks n d jerks. Yeah day n i screamed so loud (but still couldnt hear ourselves), only not as loud as d speakers. Vicious la. We were rather near to d front, when i turned ard, der were so many ppl holding d complimentary, make-shift fans infront of their faces. Farny man. We choose to come watch d movie, but half d time we hav our hands covering our eyes (even if we're peeking in betw d fingers). Why do we put ourselves in dis kind of unnecessary fear?
But d show was good anyhoos. Saw d Skeleton Key trailer, n i hav to say, if i were watching dat on d starlight premier closing, i'll come w my sleeping bag so i can curl up in it, so i'll feel protected. Freaky sh*t!
D crowd last night was bigger than mon. N d mascot (is dat wat its called?) last night was, yes u guessed it, a ghost. White cloak, red nails n long red hair. We got to take d free nokia pic, dis time, we had a ghost gracing our picture.
Did i mention dat d character mascot for monday was a jester who can make balloon figures? He swallowed a whole sausage of inflated balloon!!! Can someone tell me how dat works? Did he really swallow it? Is d balloon edible? Does d balloon deflate as it goes in? Tell me, I'm awed!
